Therefore, let it be resolved, the citizens of Canada shall bring forth a government dedicated to supporting human capital, fair taxation, and beneficial commercial growth.

Set one important goal for yourself. Then set intermediate objectives that are doable.

I suppose, in the end, it comes to a failure of our leaders to keep us in the loop on what the dollars spent return to us in services and living conditions, and for each of us to spend a little time to understand what our dollars cover.

Could it be that our incomes have not kept pace with the pricing of goods and services? Could it be that we are offered more and more credit, and the more credit we acquire the more we are encouraged to use it?

We bemoan the tax dollars paid out for social services. We gripe about the losers and addicts and lazybones who are sucking off the government teat.

It should be somewhat comforting to know that tidbits of the insight we emit settle on fertile ground.

If we look into the mirror and see the role we have to play to make the world better for our children and grandchildren … well, you get the drift.

We need to think about the possibilities instead of the barriers.

Let’s open a discussion on how we might make use of prefab housing and tiny homes to open opportunity for young people, the unhoused, and seniors.

If it were possible to provide solid, well-run essential services that sustain themselves, business would already have done it.
