The City of Orillia’s Innovation Collective is excited to host a cybersecurity workshop in partnership with Orillia Area CDC and local cybersecurity firm White Tuque Oct. 10 from 4 to 5:30 p.m. at the Orillia Public Library.
The workshop is designed to empower local business owners to safeguard their companies from digital threats. Admission is free, but registration is required.
The workshop will bring together the local business community with cybersecurity experts to collectively address the risks posed by cybercrime and explore potential solutions. During the workshop, participants will be supported in identifying their critical business assets, spotting the cyber threats that they are exposed to, and identifying potential solutions.
The Innovation Collective, managed by the City’s business development, tourism and modernization division and supported by an Innovation Collective operating committee, aims to streamline processes and support to make it easier and more accessible for local and regional entrepreneurs to participate in and grow their business through the innovation economy.
