Orillia Vocal Ensemble and Thor Motors Raise Cash

The 6th annual Christmas concert by the Orillia Vocal Ensemble at Thor Motors took place Saturday afternoon.
Special guests were the Orillia Music Centre’s ukulele ensemble, Hummin’ N’ Strummin’ Music Company, more than 80 children doing their best to sing and play some Christmas Carols; and let’s face it, if they were perfect it wouldn’t have been as entertaining.
This year the event broke last year’s $6,400 record with $7,000 (and still counting) raised for the Sharing Place Food Centre. It makes over $30,000 in total over 6 years going to the food bank during the time of their greatest need.
