Annual Seniors Day
Simcoe North MPP Jill Dunlop is hosting the annual Seniors Day at the Coldwater Arena Friday from 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. There will be vendors booths and speakers on hand.
Dr. Kevin Young, geriatrician and physician lead of the North Simcoe Muskoka Specialized Geriatric Services program, NSM SGS director Sandra Easson-Bruno, nutrition specialist Judy Contin, Soldiers’ Memorial Hospital CEO Carmine Stumpo, Crystal Cabural of Functional Fitness, and Raymond Sung Joon Cho, provincial minister of seniors and accessibility are the speakers.
The event includes door prizes, demonstrations and a complimentary light lunch prepared by Di’s Picnic Basket Catering.
Seniors wishing to go and are in needing transportation can contact Helping Hands at 705-325-7861 or Going with Gibb at 705-345-2239. Both are offering their transportation services on a first come first serve basis.
