Obtaining funding has been vital for the shelter, especially amidst and following the COVID-19 pandemic, given the rising need for services and assistance for those fleeing violence and abuse.

Her leadership in Dress for Success Orillia and Barrie, where she successfully supported over 3,000 women in Simcoe County, speaks volumes about her dedication to serving women within the community.
