Next Weekend Go Green At The Port
By Danny Epstein – Special to SUNonline/Orillia
The countdown is on! Sustainable Orillia’s Green Innovation Weekend will take place at Orillia’s waterfront Centennial Park July 26 and 27. Now in its seventh year, this year’s event will be the largest to date.
Thanks to the ongoing partnership with the Orillia Chamber of Commerce which has allowed Sustainable Orillia to join with the Chamber’s popular Mardi Gras festival, and Tourism Ontario’s sponsorship promotion on social media, the 2025 Green Innovation Weekend has more people, more innovation and more green solutions than ever before.
What began as a modest, one-day electric vehicle showcase has evolved into a two-day celebration featuring a record 32 vendors and exhibitors from the green marketplace – including electric mobility to energy efficiency and eco-conscious consumer goods, and more.
Win An E-Bike
Visitors will have a chance to win an e–bike donated by an event sponsor, Super E-Bikes. Visit the Sustainable Orillia booth upon arrival at Centennial Park to pick up an event passport and learn about how to enter the contest. Attending the Green Innovation Weekend is a fun and easy way to support sustainability and walk away with a chance to ride greener.
