Managing Waste Seminar
Sustainable Orillia has a free seminar Wednesday, November 28 from 8:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. in the Brooks Boardroom at City Hall. The purpose is here from experts on how businesses and homeowners can reduce waste.
Presentations will be made by the City’s manager of waste management, Greg Preston and Syvannnah Vine, waste diversion specialist for Busch Systems. Topics examined are the City’s waste collection program and what does the City divert from the landfill, challenges for businesses to divert and tips they can use to recycle more.
