Bank Robbery Suspect Sought
UPDATE: Suspect arrested.
Orillia OPP are looking for a suspect in a robbery of a downtown bank Tuesday afternoon. At approximately 4:40 pm a male entered the CIBC on West Street South, approached the teller and stated he had a weapon and requested money. The teller handed over an unknown amount of cash. The suspect then fled southbound on West Street.
Orillia OPP responded quickly and brought in the Central Region Canine to assist the investigation. Police are continuing the investigation.
