Hospital Foundation Events
Soldiers’ Memorial Hospital Foundation has two events happening in September. Sunshine Superwash and partners Able Taxi has a charity car wash ($10 from every wash donated) and BBQ Saturday from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
The Orillia Fire Department will have their trucks there for tours and several race car drivers will also be there with their cars.
September 25 the foundation is hosting a free speaking event at the Mariposa Inn. The 4 p.m. event features Dr. John MacFadyen, R.N. Ali Olsson and dietitian Emily Jones giving presentations and taking questions about the prevention, treatment and management of diabetes. The foundation would like people to RSVP to 705-325-6464 for this event.
