Sustainable Orillia has its sixth annual Electric Vehicle and E-Boat Show Saturday, July 27th, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. at Centennial Park.

This event will spotlight the latest advancements in electric transportation. Attendees can enjoy free test drives of electric vehicles. Also on display will be e-boats, personal watercraft, and electric surfboards. Eight boat slips will be reserved for these innovative watercraft powered by electricity.

This year’s EV show is presented in cooperation with the Orillia District Chamber of Commerce and sponsored by the Plaza Auto Group (Kia Orillia, Orillia Volkswagen, Subaru of Orillia), Super E-Bikes, Green Storage, Orser Technical, CIBC, and Jackie Ramler-Executive Wealth Advisors Raymond James,

Participating vendors – twenty of them – will include dealers of all things electric, all of them eager to show off their e-bikes, electric outdoor appliances, efficient heating/cooling alternatives, and home electric solutions. Visitors will meet electric vehicle owners who are members of the Electric Vehicle Society and the Tesla Owners Club and hear about their experiences as EV owners.

Adding to the excitement, the Sustainable Orillia Electric Vehicle Show will coincide with the chamber’s  Mardi Gras event at the Port of Orillia. Experience the fun of Mardi Gras on the shores of Lake Couchiching, featuring a boat decoration contest, live music, and an outdoor market. For more details on the Mardi Gras festivities, visit Orillia Mardi Gras.

Don’t miss this opportunity to explore the future of electric transportation and all things electric while enjoying the vibrant Mardi Gras atmosphere and be sure to visit the Sustainable Orillia booth to find out more about Sustainable Orillia’s projects and activities, as well as volunteer opportunities. There is no fee to attend. Of course, donations allowing Sustainable Orillia to continue its important work will be welcome.
