City of Orillia Holiday Schedule

City of Orillia administrative offices will be closed on Monday, Oct. 9, 2023 for Thanksgiving. This includes:
- Orillia City Centre
- Municipal Operations Centre
- Wastewater Treatment Centre
- Water Filtration Plant
- Waste Diversion Site
Hours of operation for other City facilities/services are:
Orillia Transit/OWLS: No service on Monday, Oct. 9.
Orillia Recreation Centre: Closed on Monday, Oct. 9.
Orillia Opera House: The box office is open Thursdays to Saturdays from noon to 5 p.m. Tickets are also available online.
Leacock Museum: The museum, gift shop and administrative office are closed on Monday, Oct. 9.
Orillia Public Library: Closed on Sunday, Oct. 8 and Monday, Oct. 9.
Orillia Farmers’ Market: The Market will be running as regularly scheduled.
Holiday Waste Collection Schedule: There will be no recycling, green bin or yard waste collection on Monday, Oct. 9. Collection will be delayed by one day. Items must be at the curb by 7 a.m. to ensure collection. The regular collection schedule will resume on Monday, Oct. 16, 2023.
