Champlain Monument Canada Day Protest

A small group of First Nations protesters and other supporters were drumming up support for their opposition to Orillia City council’s decision last week to endorse returning the Champlain Monument to Couchiching beach Park in its original form, The protest took place in the early afternoon during Canada Day celebrations.
