Waterfront Development Public Meeting
The City of Orillia has a public meeting scheduled for June 3 in council chambers at 4:45 p.m. The purpose is to discuss the application for draft plan of subdivision, a draft plan of common elements condominium, and a zoning by-law amendment for 144 Elgin Street, more commonly known as the former Schacter land.
The developer, Ventures Inc., is proposing to build 53 townhouses and changes to existing regulations including reduced lot area and frontage, increased lot coverage, reduced front yard, interior side yard, exterior side yard, and rear yard setbacks, reduced landscaped open space and landscaped buffer area.
