Was That A Cop?
Southern Georgian Bay OPP think there may be people who have had contact with 27-year-old Midland resident Brandon (Don) Waites. He is charged with several counts of impersonating a police officer.
OPP say he used several different vehicles resembling OPP vehicles, marked and unmarked, and engage with people as if he was a police officer.
The accused was released from custody on a recognizance at a bail hearing held before the Ontario Court of Justice in Barrie on March 12 and will appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Midland on April 4.
